Already have events somewhere else? Bring them over in a few minutes — feeds, exports, or a direct calendar link.
Open Quieta and head to Settings → Switch from another app. If you are moving a family calendar, pick the path that matches what your old app gives you. If you are moving a team, class, club, or group, open Q Organizer → Import so roster, schedule, duty, and fee rows can be reviewed together.
If you use Cozi Free, start with the Cozi screenshot importer in onboarding. Pick saved calendar screenshots, review the extracted events, then save only the ones that look right. If you have Cozi Gold, the iCal feed is still the cleaner ongoing sync path.
A live iCal / ICS feed is best when available. It works for Apple Calendar, Outlook, many Google calendars, TeamSnap, SportsEngine, GameChanger, school portals, churches, and league sites. A one-time .ics file works for snapshots like an OurFamilyWizard date-range export. A direct Google Calendar OAuth link is the most hands-off option if your schedule already lives in Google.
Q Organizer is designed for the exports organizers already have: TeamSnap roster CSV plus schedule link, SportsEngine member CSV plus schedule CSV, GameChanger schedule sync link plus copied roster text, BAND calendar URL plus copied posts, SignUpGenius report, snack list, carpool sheet, or a fee spreadsheet.
Paste or upload the source. Q Organizer previews players, households, events, duties, and flagged rows before anything is saved to the Organizer Q.
Some family-calendar apps make feed export paid or hard to find. For Cozi Free, use the dedicated screenshot importer instead of retyping the calendar by hand.
Save a few clear Cozi calendar screenshots, open the Cozi screenshot importer from onboarding, and review each extracted event before it enters the Stream.
For iCal or ICS, paste the full webcal:// or https:// URL. For a one-time exported calendar file, tap Upload and pick the .ics file from Files or your Downloads folder. For Google, tap Connect and sign in — pick which calendars come over.
Quieta extracts events into your Stream as it reads them. You see the count climb, then a confirmation when it's done. If anything looks off, you can undo the whole import from the same screen.
iCal feeds keep refreshing — when your old calendar adds a game or moves a practice, Quieta picks it up the next time it polls. Google OAuth works the same way and is the most reliable for ongoing sync. One-time files are snapshots; for ongoing sync, switch to the iCal URL or the Google path.
What carries over: events, dates, times, locations, and notes. What's new in Quieta: conflict detection across the whole family, departure timing tied to traffic, family-aware checklists generated from each event, and sharing your schedule with grandparents or a co-parent through Q codes.
